The Queensland Legion of Frontiersmen Badge

Reference to the Queensland Frontiersmen badge was recently unearthed in a January 1934 edition of the ‘Queenslan

der’ magazine. This badge was listed in a photo of some Australian badges and buttons as: ‘beret, Queensland Legion of  Frontiersmen, disbanded’. No other history for the badge has yet been uncovered.

An example of this badge has recently come to light and is now in the care of the Legion of Frontiersmen Australian Division (LFAD), Victorian Branch.

(Ed: The Queensland Detachment has adopted the old Queensland Legion of Frontiersmen badge as seen in this post. It is a strong link between the Queensland Detachment, LF-A and the Legion of Frontiersmen Commands in Queensland of the past.)
