SITE MAP

This site is best viewed in the 800x600 screen resolution, though one may view it in other resolutions with success.

Presently the site is easily accessible and uses two menu structures. The menu bar to the left appears on all pages and guides the visitor to information about the Legion of Frontiersmen Australian Division and the Legion generally. The administration menu at the top of each page provides visitors with a path back to the Home page of the site and other current information such as how to contact us, what's on in the Legion and the latest additions to the Legion's web site.

As the site expands we will include a sub structure below to assist visitors with fast navigation should they require it.

Downloading files in PDF

Some users of this site have had difficulty downloading PDF(Portable Document Format) files. The answer is to download the latest version of Acrobat Reader (it's free) from the Adobe site.

Adobe Acrobat Access Plug-in

For those with a visual impairment, the Adobe Acrobat Access Plug-in enables users to read PDF documents.

The Access plug-in supplements the standard Reader display of PDF documents with an alternative view that supports screen-reading applications. The textual content of a PDF file is displayed in a separate window. Hypertext links, notes, bookmarks, sound and movies, are available in the Access view.

Difficulties Downloading?

If you are having difficulties downloading documents you can try the following:

1. Right click (control click on a Macintosh) on the PDF file. Select "save as" in Netscape or "save target" in Internet Explorer.

2. Choose a directory, then click "save"

3. You should get a "download bar" which will show the percent and the time left, for the file to download.

4. Find the file on your hard drive.

5. Once you have found the file, double click on it. This should then open up the file in Acrobat Reader. (As long as you have previously installed Acrobat Reader onto your computer.)

If this does not work you could do step1, 2 and 3 then open up Acrobat Reader. On the menu bar choose file open, then find the file on your hard drive click on it and click on open. This should open up the file.
